TrustBee Referral Program Policy

Applies To: All users of TrustBee (Buyers, Sellers, and Service Providers)


1. Introduction


TrustBee’s Referral Program is designed to reward users who actively promote the platform to others. The program aims to encourage community growth, platform adoption, and user trust through organic network referrals. It is an opportunity for users to earn rewards by inviting individuals or businesses to use TrustBee's escrow-based digital financial ecosystem.

This policy outlines the rules, eligibility, terms of reward disbursement, and the limitations applicable to both the Referrer (the person who refers) and the Referee (the new user who joins).


2. Definitions


  • Referrer: An existing TrustBee user who refers another user to the platform through a unique referral code or link.
  • Referee: A new user who joins TrustBee using the Referrer’s link or code.
  • Successful Completion: A transaction that is fully completed using TrustBee’s ESCROW system, with both parties confirming delivery and approval.
  • Reward: A financial commission, discount, or other benefits given to the Referrer, based on the completion of eligible transactions by the Referee.

3. Eligibility Criteria


3.1 For Referrers:

  • Must be an active user with a fully verified account (KYC completed).
  • Must not have violated any TrustBee policy or terms of service.
  • Must use the official referral mechanism (provided in the app or dashboard).

3.2 For Referees:

  • Must be a new user to TrustBee, not previously registered.
  • Must complete the full KYC verification process and initiate a valid transaction within the eligibility window.
  • Cannot be linked to the Referrer by shared NID, email, IP address, or device fingerprint (to prevent self-referrals or abuse).

4. Program Rules and Guidelines


4.1 Unlimited Referrals Allowed

  • Referrers can refer an unlimited number of users.
  • Each successful Referee can trigger individual rewards for the Referrer.

4.2 Reward Trigger Condition

The reward is only granted when the Referee completes their first ESCROW transaction, and the transaction is marked as “successfully completed” by both the Buyer and the Seller.

4.3 Variable Reward Value

The reward amount is not fixed. It may vary depending on:

  • The size of the Referee’s transaction
  • The product/service category
  • Seasonal or promotional campaigns
  • Platform performance targets
  • TrustBee may offer:
  • Flat commissions (e.g., BDT 100 per transaction)
  • Percentage-based commissions (e.g., 1–5% of the transaction value)
  • Discount vouchers for future transactions

4.4 Referral Code Validity

Referral links or codes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

After this period, TrustBee reserves the right to deactivate the code or apply changes.


5. Reward Disbursement


5.1 Disbursement Timeline

Rewards will be credited to the Referrer’s TrustBee account within 7 working days after the Referee’s transaction is verified as successful.

5.2 Withdrawal Process

The reward will be available for withdrawal or usage (based on the reward type) after it is credited.

TrustBee reserves the right to hold or reverse the reward in the event of fraud, transaction reversal, or dispute.

5.3 Tax and Fees

Applicable taxes or service charges (as per Bangladesh law) will be deducted from the referral reward.

TrustBee will not bear any personal income tax liability arising from reward earnings.


6. Limitations and Fraud Prevention


6.1 No Self-Referral

Referring oneself using multiple accounts, fake IDs, or shared devices is strictly prohibited.

Violators will face:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Forfeiture of earned rewards
  • Reporting under Digital Security Act or Money Laundering Prevention Act if necessary

 

6.2 Abuse or Misrepresentation

Spamming referral codes on unrelated platforms, using misleading marketing, or impersonating TrustBee is strictly prohibited.

6.3 Bot/Automated Referrals

Any use of bots, automation, or scripts to generate referrals will result in permanent account ban.


7. TrustBee's Rights and Discretion


7.1 Program Modifications

TrustBee reserves the full right to:

  • Modify referral rules
  • Change or remove reward amounts
  • Introduce new reward types
  • Limit or discontinue the program at any time
  • Changes may be made without prior notice, although TrustBee will strive to inform users via app notifications, website updates, or email.

 

7.2 Reward Cancellation or Delay

TrustBee may delay or cancel reward disbursement in the following cases:

  • Ongoing dispute or chargeback in the referred transaction
  • Incomplete KYC of the Referee
  • Technical issues or server errors affecting transaction logs
  • Discovery of suspicious patterns or policy violation
  • In such cases, TrustBee is not liable for the user’s loss of expected commissions or discounts.

8. Transparency and Appeals


8.1 Viewing Referral Status

Referrers can track the status of their referrals, earned rewards, and payout schedules via the TrustBee dashboard.

8.2 Disputing a Referral Issue

  • If a reward is not credited, users may raise a support ticket within 7 working days.
  • TrustBee will review the complaint and respond within 5 working days.
  • However, the decision made by the compliance team will be final and binding.

9. Final Disclaimer


  • TrustBee’s Referral Program is a promotional initiative, not a contractual obligation or income guarantee.
  • TrustBee is not liable for any loss, claim, or dispute arising from changes to the program.
  • Participation implies full acceptance of TrustBee's Terms of Service, Compliance Policies, and Data Security Policies.
